Ben Erste
Regional Planning Director
Mr. Erste joined BHJ in May 2022 and currently serves as the Regional Planning Director. As Regional Planning Director for BHJ and Region XI, Mr. Erste works with planning and development initiatives across the BHJ footprint. Mr. Erste is responsible for the WV Region XI Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, Hazard Mitigation Plan, County Wide Facilities Plan, regional project development & initiation, and assisting member communities within the BHJ footprint in community development initiatives. Mr. Erste received his Juris Doctorate from Baylor Law School in February 2020 and his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Administration from Franciscan University of Steubenville in May 2017.
