PUBLIC NOTICE – F.Y. 2018-2021 Transportation Improvement Program – Revision #2

The   Brooke-Hancock-Jefferson  Metropolitan  Planning   Organization   is   accepting   public   review  and comment regarding a proposed Revision #2 of the Fiscal Year 2018 – 2021 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), for the Brooke-Hancock-Jefferson Metropolitan Planning (BHJMPO) Region.

The BHJMPO Technical Advisory and Policy Committees, by voice vote, approved adoption of Revision #2 (contingent upon any public comments received during this two week comment period)  during their regularly scheduled meetings convening at 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 Noon respectively on Wednesday May 17, 2017. These meetings were held at the Brooke-Hancock-Jefferson Metropolitan Planning Commission Offices located at 124 North Fourth Street, Second Floor; Steubenville, Ohio. Revision #2 includes the addition of the following projects:

In Brooke County, WV add two (2) Projects: (1) Market Street Bridge – 6 Year Bridge Inspection, West Virginia Department of Highways Project# T605 002 001 00 and (2) Veterans Memorial Bridge – 6 Year Bridge Inspection, West Virginia Department of Highways Project# T605 22 00003 00.

In Hancock County, WV add one (1) Project: Jennings Randolph Bridge – 6 Year Bridge Inspection, West Virginia Department of Highways Project# T615 30 00002 00.

Those persons wishing to review the proposed revision may request a copy of the program of projects by contacting the BHJMPO office at (740) 282-3685 or by accessing the BHJ website at www.bhjmpc.org on or before 4:00 p.m. Monday June 5, 2017. The office is located at 124 North Fourth Street, Second Floor Steubenville, Ohio. Business contact hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays Monday through Friday.
